Wood and leather box, believed to have belonged to Daniel Eaton, husband of Livina Myers (Darius' sister). Daniel gave it to Tunis Myers (Darius' brother). The box was found with Phil and Floras' belongings. At one time letters between Uncle Phil and Aunt Flora A. were also stored there, however they were purposely destroyed. The box is lined newspapers from the early 1800's.
Darius Myers (Sr) carried his gold country earnings wrapped in this red bandanna. He kept this journal of his trip. Both items were stored in the D.E. box, above.
